This blog is intended to be populated with IoT and CyberSecurity related posts, guides, tutorials, how to’s and so forth. For example, if author has spent 2 days on a problem, I truly feel that it is unneccesary for someone else to spend that time. Hopefully they find this blog instead.
Also, ever since I discovered that we were around ~2 people globally** with an absurd passion for smart lightbulbs of a special brand (FCMILA, especially 15W model where the ESP got replaced by an unknown SoC). The other person was Luca Dentella, and he provided guides and published his work and I see his lets learn together posts as a great inspiration. https://www.lucadentella.it/en/
So finally after 3 years or so, I have my own blog hosted by my company and I aim to provide with my own lessons learned and easieast way to solve problems or flash a new OS.
**When I google now, I can see that the number has increasead tremendously…
Hi there! I’m a Cyber Security Consultant by day, and security researcher 24/7. Due to the amount of microprocessors all around us and the chaos that we are creating with backdoors into our homes, our industries and our governmental institution, I have become obsessed with helping out and exposing all the bad and dangerous security implementations we have around us and reversing the trend.
That is how I try to make a positive mark upon history. (And hopefully western industry).
Did you think about the microphone you installed in your home with Google Home or Amazon Alexa? Why should a three letter organisation or a “communist party” have the right to survey you in your home?
I have a dream of a “Google Home” without Google. And I know it is achievable, the opensource community is working hard and we now have voice recognigtion and commands running LOCALLY.
So everything between Security, Self-hosting your own cloud, Server and network problems, hardware and software hacking will be posted here.
